Many have given detailed ratings, so I'll be quick. Expertise: Software Engineer, US Air Force pilot. I bought a combo with RAM upgrade and neoprene case for just under [...] bucks. Color is Blue, looks nice. I've put this through its paces for over two months, including a round the world trip.
PROS:
This machine is great for travel. Battery life is 6-8 hours. Outstanding on flights. Camera works nicely...not top of the line but good picture.
VERY compact machine, travels well.
Wi-fi and bluetooth work flawlessly. Excellent range for both.
I upgraded to 2GB RAM. It's smokin' fast. Can't comment on 1GB.
Running MS Office 2007 Enterprise, Picasa and other programs seem just as quick and smooth as any other processor.
Great hard drive size and speed. Enough USB ports. I like and use the built in SD card reader.
Screen size compared to other netbook computers is excellent. I like the matte screen over shiney, especially for a travel computer.
HUGE PLUS: Windows XP Pro instead of Vista. No problems with the OS.
CONS:
