I own a 13" laptop (Dell M1330) that I had been using for travel. However, I found it too bulky to carry around. I read reviews on all the netbooks. I wanted something that was really portable; reasonably fast; had a good sized hard drive; but the real issue for me was the size of the keyboard. I have big hands and I wanted a keyboard I would be comfortable with. The Samsung NC10 is spectacular! The screen is big enough to work on; it is light; it is pretty--mine in blue; the keyboard took a little adjustment, but is reasonably comfortable (I read it was 95% of regular size); it is fast (I bought the Crucial 2 GB RAM for $25, although I'm not sure your really need it); its battery seems to last forever (actually somewhere between 4 and 6 hours). I also bought a mathcing blue logitech V470 cordless laser mouse, and the Caselogic neoprene sleeve. The nc10 is great to work on while in bed or watching TV...a joy to travel with... Complaints? Very easy to use, light weight enough to carry with me. With the 6cell battery, it lasts longer than the other 3cell batteries. I can go on-line and not worry about the computer loosing power. The speed with the 1gig ram was OK, but I wanted it a bit faster, so I put in a 2gig ram. Very easy to install (remove 1 screw and pop it in) I like it better with the extra speed. I would highly recommend this for anyone that is looking for a light weight notebook. This is a great overall product. I'm a college student so I needed a laptop that was very light, and this one is perfect. The keyboard is easy to get used too, the screen is very small though. I got used to the screen very fast and I don't mind the size because I really just wanted this computer for traveling to and from campus. The battery life is amazing, it could last for days.
