This thing is phenominal. I use it for work, travel and heavy-duty programs. At 2.8 pounds, it is less than a third of what I used to carry and twice as powerful. I've put serious 3-d database programs in it, PGP whole disk encryption, litigation software and the entire Office 2007 suite. PowerPoint presentations on the road just shed eight pounds. I did upgrade RAM to 2 gig (for about $20) - it took me five minutes and one screwdriver. The fan is so silent I can use it in court right next to the microphone and no one hears a thing. I've had my NC10 for about 3-4 weeks and I've had a great time with it.

The keyboard is 93% the size of a full keyboard, and unlike the ASUS Eee PC or the MSi Wind the key placement is almost exactly like a regular keyboard.

Since purchasing the product I have added an extra 1GB of RAM (the upgrade will require 1 2GB stick) and purchased an external DVD burner. I've run three different OS's (Windows XP, Windows 7, and openSuse 11.1) and I haven't had any problems with any of them. In fact, Windows 7 runs great (maybe a little faster than XP).
